GLOBAL PARTNERS
Malawi from Bishop Fanuel:
- Cyclone Freddy has brought heavy rains and flooding to many areas of Southern Malawi. There are near 500 dead, over 490,000 displaced people and 533 camps set up to accommodate them. Heavy rains are now being predicted for Central and Northern Malawi. Pray for the government and Church in Malawi as they respond to the needs of the people. Pray the country will be spared any more damage from this long-lasting Cyclone. Click Here for More.
- Pray for the mission team led by Bishop Reed coming to Malawi after GAFCON. We will have a clergy conference as part of the mission teams activities. We pray that this will bring Unity into the Diocese among the clergy. We pray that this will help us to renew our commitment to the ministry and to bring the much needed revival into our hearts as we will take this fire into the parishes.
La Gran Familia (LGF) from Director Martin Cordova:
- There are two Cartel fighting for territory in Cuauhtémoc. Pray for this violence to stop. Pray that the Lord will continue to provide a hedge of protection around all the children - their home, their schools and every where they go. Pray that those who are part of the evil will be reached with the love of Jesus.
- The Mexico Association of the Arts has a program, NUCAM that is providing professional music teachers and instruments for La Gran Familia children. Pray for this program of music classes to be new tools for the children. May their hearts and minds discover God's beauty and goodness through the arts.
Myanmar from Bishop David Nyi Nyi Naing in Diocese of Mandalay:
In 1970 the Anglican Church in Myanmar became an independent Province of the Anglican Communion and now numbers six dioceses and three missionary dioceses. The isolation of Myanmar from 1966 until 1987, its borders were closed and it still quite difficult to reach has meant that the only way that we can express our partnership with the Church is through prayer. Please join us in this endeavor. Now the country is under the Military Coup and people are suffer and the civil war is in every part of the country.
- Pray for the Toungoo Diocese, Bishop Saw Shee Sho, Assistant Bishop Yoe Shee Yar, standing committee, department of Men's Association, MU (Mother Union), AYPA (Anglican Young People Association) and Education and Religious Education Department (Children Ministry), office staff, priests and people.
- Pray for the people of Myanmar and the National Leaders who are in prison. Pray for peace and reconciliation between armed groups and freedom and justice for the country. And especially pray for all those working for peace and democracy.

FOR THE PERSECUTED AND
SUFFERING CHURCH
Church in Nigeria:
- In the wake of the chaos over Nigeria’s recent presidential elections,
the loss of election integrity has emboldened terrorist. Muslim Fulani militants have increased attacks and threats on multiple Christian communities, killing dozens and driving thousands from their homes and villages. Pray for the Lord to sustain these Christians in their suffering. Pray for a peace in Nigeria that the country will find way to protect all their citizens. Click Here for More
Church in the Democratic Republic of the Congo:
- The Rev. Bisoke Balikenga, a recent guest of our diocese, has shared with us the desperate situation near the Peace Center in Bunia where rebels destroy villages, kidnap women and kill people. Father Bisoke and his staff are ministering to an estimated 7,000 internally displaced people (IDPs) by providing food when possible and trauma care. Pray for the safety of the Peace Center. Pray for their protection and provision as they meet the spiritual and physical needs of the people. Pray for land where the people can cultivate and feed themselves. May they be sustained by our prayers as they continue to bring the knowledge and love of God into this very hard situation.

- We offer thanksgiving that the Leonard Kamungu School of Theology which is in Zomba in Southern Malawi has not been damaged from Cyclone Freddy. Please pray for the Bob Gresser family as they prepare to go as missionaries to the seminary.
- We offer thanksgiving for the Ordination of a Deacon, Kenneth Clark Lopez, at St. Vincent Cathedral, March 11, 2023. God bless Deacon Lopez in his ministry.
