As we seek God during this unprecedented time, we hope you will continue with us to storm heaven with pleas for the world. As intercessors, we find encouragement in the words from an evening hymn by John Ellerton. This hymn captures the truth that every time we pray, we are joined in prayer by others throughout the world.
We thank thee that thy Church unsleeping
While earth rolls onward into light,
Through all the world her watch is keep
And rest not now by day or night.
As over each continent and island
While dawn leads on another day,
The voice of prayer is never silent,
Nor dies the strain of praise away.
Blessings,

GLOBAL PARTNERS
Malawi from Bishop Fanuel:
- Please pray for Malawi as they have seen an increase in the number of confirmed COVID cases over the last months. They fear it has gotten out of control due to the cold weather and the recent political rallies.
- Pray for wisdom for the bishop, clergy and lay leaders as they discern how to safely operate their churches and support the needs of the people.
- Hunger is a significant issue. Pray for the many suffering as their livelihoods and access to food supplies have been impacted.
La Gran Familia (LGF) from Glenn Polhemus:
- Pray for continued safety of the children as lockdown has ended in Cuauhtémoc.
- Pray for security from the daily threats of cartel violence in Cuauhtémoc. May the Prince of Peace reign!
- Pray for the LGF Board to finally resolve the title issues on the original boys' house.
Mandalay from Bishop David Nyi Nyi Naing:
- Pray for all the clergy and 24 parishes as they respond to the needs of the people.
- Pray for the formation of the new diocese of Homelin.
- Pray for protection for Bishop David and his family – his wife, Mary and son, Solomon.
GAFCON from Archbishop Foley Beach:
We are receiving prayer requests from various countries where clergy are struggling to provide for their families. This is typically in parts of the world where the clergy depend on weekly church service collections.
- Please pray for all clergy in this situation: that they may know the reality of serving Jehovah Jireh - the Lord will Provide.

FOR THE PERSECUTED
Nigerian Christians:
Each month Christians in Nigeria are killed and property destroyed in the north east states. A UK Parliamentary group has recently published a report highlighting the religious motivation of the violence. Click here to read more.
- Pray for international pressure to persuade the government of Nigeria to take action to protect Christians.
- Pray that these persecuted believers will know of God's great love and compassion. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Pakistani Christians:
The Christians in Pakistan are not receiving the provisions needed to protect themselves from the virus, such as masks, and are excluded from food distributions.
- Please continue to pray for these persecuted Christians. Conditions are very difficult at the best of times, but during the global pandemic they are even worse.
- Pray that they will know the steadfastness of the Lord. (Hebrews 13:5)

OUR DIOCESE
From Bishop Reed:
We now have cases of COVID-19 among our congregations.
- Continue to pray – for God’s intercession in this crisis, for the health and strength of our medical community, for the recovery of the sick, and comfort for the grieving. We are not without hope.
In regard to the recent state Supreme Court ruling, Bishop Reed writes in his Pastoral Letter at Pentecost, "Let us repent of any evil thoughts ... malice ... or vengeance. Let us repent of any spirit of triumphalism. ... We must leave behind the fortress mentality, look beyond the walls of our buildings, and be about the work of the Gospel. We need to shed the spiritual weight of this 11-year-long lawsuit and recommit ourselves to sharing the transforming love of Jesus Christ."

- Please continue to pray for the legal process as it moves toward conclusion.
