Let my prayer be counted as incense before you,
and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!
Psalm 141:2
In Genesis 18, God and Abraham stand together in the evening, looking down on Sodom and Gomorrah. God laments on what is happening there and Abraham pleads in intercession. What a beautiful time it is when God invites us to stand with Him and look upon His world. Through prayer we weep over the things that break His heart and rejoice over the things that bring Him glory.
Thank you for continuing to pray with us for our global partners and God's world.

GLOBAL PARTNERS
Malawi from Bishop Fanuel:
- Last month we launched a project for the construction of the priest house in Kanjuchi parish. Phase two is completed we are now preparing for phase three which is roofing. This is the first project by Ungweru construction company owned by the diocese. Pray with thanksgiving for God's favor on this project and His blessings on Ungweru Construction Co.
- We are beginning to build a 30m high tower for the Hosanna Radio Station. When it is completed and we can use all antennas, we will be able to reach a wide area for the Gospel. Please continue to pray that the radio project which was just a dream is coming to reality. Our God is able.
- We also are now going to go into a search for a Diocesan Secretary. We praise God for Mr. Benard Mainga who retired some two years ago, yet I have kept him on month to month. Pray for wisdom and discernment as we begin the interview process. Pray for God's provision of good candidates.
La Gran Familia (LGF) from Director Martin Cordova:
- As the children begin this new year, may all of their studies and activities be a path to the Father. Pray that the Holy Spirit, source of divine light, fills the minds and hearts of the children so that they study and learn to build the Kingdom of God in this world.
- It is with great sadness that we report that Carlos Mendez, graduate of LGF, died in hospital on Christmas morning after being sick for a few month. Carlos came to LGF at the age of four with his brother and sisters. He had nearly completed his degree in architecture. May he rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him. Please pray for his family Rigo, Esme and Gaby as they morn.
Myanmar from Bishop David Nyi Nyi Naing in Diocese of Mandalay:
In 1970 the Anglican Church in Myanmar became an independent Province of the Anglican Communion and now numbers six dioceses and three missionary dioceses. The isolation of Myanmar from 1966 until 1987, its borders were closed and it still quite difficult to reach has meant that the only way that we can express our partnership with the Church is through prayer. Please join us in this endeavor. Now the country is under the Military Coup and people are suffer and the civil war is in every part of the country.
- Please pray for the Sittwe Diocese, Bishop James Min Dain, Assistant Bishop Aung Thar Tun, standing committee, department of Man Association, MU(Mother Union), AYPA(Anglican Young People Association) and Education and Religious Education Department (Children Ministry), office staff, priests and people.
- Pray for the Men's Fellowship. Give thanks for its witness and pray for its continuing work with men especially in the field of evangelism, the Heads of Department of Province Office and the Diocesan Offices.
- May the Prince of Peace reign in Myanmar. May the civil war end. May the Gospel spread and Jesus be known.
